Visas for Israel

This was not the case until January 1, 2025, obtaining an eVisa is now compulsory to enter Israeli territory, particularly if you are of French nationality.

This eVisa (called ETA-IL) is necessary for tourist, business or study trips.

Nationals of the following 100 countries will therefore have to apply for this Electronic Visa before visiting Israel from January 1, 2025:

To be able to enter Israel, the traveler must bring their passport (valid for at least 6 months after the date of exit from the territory), a copy of their eVisa (ETA-IL) as well as a return flight ticket.

No health restrictions on entry into Israel.

It should be noted that, even if the traveler is in possession of all the documents requested to validate his entry into Israel, the local authorities reserve the right to refuse access to their territory without having to justify it.

The ETA-IL is valid for 2 years from its issue for stays (Tourism or Business) of up to 90 days on site and for multiple entries.
