Information and conditions of entry into the country
The Iraqi consulate no longer issues visas until further notice. The latter will be issued on arrival in Iraq for 75 to 100 USD
To travel to Iraq a visa is usually required with a few exceptions.
To this end you will find on this page all the information and answers to the questions that will be useful to you in order to obtain your visa. If this is not the case, please return to us so that we can give you all the information you need.
Obtaining a visa on arrival is required to enter in Iraq.
It should be noted that no visa is issued upon arrival in the country. Therefore, it is imperative that the traveller apply to the Iraqi Embassy in Paris.
In order to enter Iraqi territory, the traveller will need to carry his passport, 75 to 100 USD as well as a return flight ticket.
It should be noted that, even if the traveller is in possession of all the documents requested to validate his entry into Iraq, the Iraqi authorities reserve the right to refuse access to their territory without having to justify it.
The visa is valid from the date of issuance for a period of 30 days per stay.
