General information

To travel to Bangladesh a Visa is generally required with a few exceptions.

Do you need a Visa for Bangladesh ?

A Visa for Bangladesh is compulsory except for nationals of the following countries (for a stay of less than 90 days): Barbados, Bhutan, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Fiji, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Jamaica , Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, St Kits and Nevis, Tanzania, Tonga and Zambia.

Be careful, however, to inform yourself regularly about this exemption which may be questioned at any time by the authorities of Bangladesh.

Conditions of entry in Bangladesh

To be able to enter the territory of Bangladesh, the traveler must bring his passport with Visa as well as a return flight ticket.

It should be noted that, even if the traveler is in possession of all the documents requested to validate his entry into Bangladesh, the authorities reserve the right to refuse access to their territory without having to justify it.

Understanding the Visa for Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
The duration of a business Visa can be up to 6 months.

Documents to be provided : Visa Business

● An original signed passport valid for 6 months after the date of your return + the copy of the passport data page.

● A form duly completed and signed via the site Government of The People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

● 2 color identity photos.

● An invitation letter from your correspondent written in english.

● A letter from your company specifying the REQUEST FOR A BUSINESS Visa and written in english.

● A repatriation insurance certificate (Visa Travel International can provide you with this insurance and you can buy it directly from our website).

● A hotel reservation or an accommodation certificate.

● A copy of the flight ticket or travel certificate with return dates.

● A copy of the residence permit for non-european people as well as proof of address for non-French people.

Documents to be provided : Visa Tourism

● An original signed passport valid for 6 months after the date of your return + the copy of the passport data page.

● A form duly completed and signed via the site Government of The People’s Republic of Bangladesh

● 2 color identity photos.

● A hotel reservation or an accommodation certificate.

● A travel certificate specifying the IN and OUT dates or a photocopy of the return flight ticket.

● A repatriation insurance certificate (Visa Travel International can provide you with this insurance and you can buy it directly from our website).

● A copy of the residence permit for non-european people as well as proof of address for non-french people.
