To travel to Burkina Faso an eVisa is generally required with a few exceptions.

A eVisa for Burkina Faso is compulsory except for nationals of the following countries (for a stay of less than 90 days): Benin, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali , Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
However, be careful to inform yourself regularly about this exemption, which can be questioned at any time by the Burkinabese authorities.
French people wishing to travel to Burkina Faso must obtain an electronic visa (eVisa) before departure.
It should be noted that a Visa can be issued at border posts but without guarantee.
In addition, the billing for this Visa will be much higher than obtaining an eVisa prior to departure.
To be able to enter the territory of Burkina Faso, the traveler must bring his passport with eVisa as well as a return flight ticket.
It should be noted that, even if the traveler is in possession of all the documents requested to validate his entry into Burkina Faso, the authorities reserve the right to refuse access to their territory without having to justify it.
The single entry eVisa for Burkina Faso becomes valid on the dates indicated in the Visa application file.
The multiple entry eVisa is valid for the period chosen.
